Amid the madness of this world, may I become mad by fervently singing the glories of God.
Some in this world have become mad in sorrow; some in happiness; I humbly pray I may become inebriated by drinking the divine name of my lord.
I find myself in the midst of an insanity of worldliness; O my mind may I be called insane in restless yearning for the vision of God.
In the midst of this colorful procession of the mad men of this world, I join as one who loudly sings the name of God.
